Cyber Security Training in Amsterdam 2018

SANS Amsterdam 2018 takes place 15- 20 January at the Hotel Okura Amsterdam.

  • Choose from 7 hands-on cyber security courses.
  • Prepare for: GSEC, GCIH, GXPN and GCFE Certifications.
  • Take SANS Training in a classroom-like environment and under the supervision of a SANS Instructor.
  • Participate in NetWars - limited seats available.

The following SANS Instructors will be teaching courses in Amsterdam:

  • Frank Kim - Frank leads the management and software security curricula at SANS, helping to develop the next generation of security leaders. Frank is also the founder of ThinkSec, a security consulting and CISO advisory firm.
  • Timothy Garcia- Tim is a seasoned security professional who loves the challenge and continuously changing landscape of defense. Tim started his career as an engineer in IT and after working on a few security incidents related to Code Red and Nimda; he realized he had found his calling. Tim currently works as an Information Security Engineer for a Fortune 100 financial institution where he provides security consulting to project teams to ensure security of IT operations and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Steve Armstrong - Steve began working in the security arena in 1994 whilst serving in the UK Royal Air Force. He specialised in the technical aspects of IT security from 1997 onward, and before retiring from active duty, he lead the RAF's penetration and TEMPEST testing teams. He founded logically Secure in 2006 to provide specialist security to advice government departments, defence contractors, online video game industry and both music and film labels worldwide.
  • Jeff McJunkin -Jeff is a senior staff member at Counter Hack Challenges with more than nine years of experience in systems and network administration and network security. His greatest strength is his breadth of experience -from network and web application penetration testing to digital/mobile forensics, and from technical training to systems architecture.
  • Jake Williams - Jake is a 12 year veteran of information security, an instructor of eight SANS courses and co-author of FOR526: Memory Forensics In-Depth and FOR578: Cyber Threat Intelligence. As well as being a SANS instructor Jake runs a successful Infosec consultancy.
  • Chad Tilbury - Chad brings his wealth of experience to his role as technical director at CrowdStrike, where he specialises in incident response, corporate espionage, and computer forensics. Here at SANS, Chad is a senior instructor and co-author for FOR500: Windows Forensics and FOR508: Advanced Digital Forensics, Incident Response, and Threat Hunting.
  • Alissa Torres - With more than 15 years of experience in computer and network security, Alissa has the experience and technical savvy to take on even the most difficult computer forensics challenges. Her current role is an Incident Response Manager at Cargill and she is also the founder of her own firm, Sibertor Forensics.
