Cyber Security Training in Munich 2018

SANS Munich 2018 takes place 19th-24th March, at the Munich Marriott Hotel.

  • Choose from 7hands-on cyber security courses.
  • Prepare for: GSEC, GCIH, GPEN, GCCC, GCFA,GREM and GICSP Certifications.
  • Take SANS Training in a classroom-like environment and under the supervision of a SANS Instructor.

The following SANS Instructors will be teaching courses at SANS Munich 2018:

  • Ian Reynolds -Over the last two decades Ian has worked across multiple IT disciplines with businesses from a myriad of sectors. He holds several certifications from GIAC as well as a CISSP, a CISM, a number of vendor certifications and is a member of the GIAC Advisory Board.
  • Steve Armstrong -Steve began working in the security arena in 1994 whilst serving in the UK Royal Air Force. He founded Logically Secure in 2006 to provide specialist security advice to government departments, defense contractors, the online video gaming industry, and both music and film labels worldwide.
  • Erik Van Buggenhout -Erik is an instructor for the SANS SEC542 "Web Application Penetration Testing & Ethical Hacking" and SANS SEC560 "Network Penetration Testing & Ethical Hacking" courses. Next to his teaching activities for SANS, Erik is the head of technical security services at nViso. NViso is a Brussels-based IT security firm founded in early 2013.
  • Russell Eubanks -Russellis Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer for the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He is responsible for developing and executing the Information Security strategy for both the Retail Payments Office and the Atlanta Reserve Bank. Russell has developed information security programs from the ground up and actively seeks opportunities to measurably increase their overall security posture.
  • Mathias Fuchs -Mathias is a SANS Certified Instructor of FOR508 - Advanced Digital Forensics and Incident Response. He is currently head of CyberDefence at InfoGuard Ag. As a yearlong security practitioner Mathias brings experience from real world cases into the curriculum.
  • Lenny Zeltser -A seasoned business and technology leader with extensive information security expertise, Lenny started his professional journey in a variety of technical infosec roles before serving as the national lead of the U.S. security consulting practice at a major cloud services provider. Later in his career he oversaw a portfolio of security services at a Fortune 500 technology company
  • Thomas Brandstetter -Thomas is CEO and co-founder of Limes Security, a company specialising in industrial cyber security and secure software development, based in Austria. Besides his work as a CEO, he is an associate professor at the University of Applied Sciences St. Poelten, Austria. where he loves to teach his students subjects like industrial cyber security, incident response, botnets and honeypots and penetration testing.
