Cyber Security Training in Amsterdam 2018

SANS Amsterdam June 2018 takes place 28 May- 2 June at the Movenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre

  • Choose from 8 hands-on cyber security courses.
  • Prepare for: GAWN, GCIH, GMON, GPEN, GCFE, GREM and GSLC Certifications.
  • Take SANS Training in a classroom-like environment and under the supervision of a SANS Instructor.
  • Participate in NetWars - limited seats available.

The following SANS Instructors will be teaching courses in Amsterdam:

  • Larry Pesce - Larry is a Senior Security Analyst with InGuardians after a long stint in security and disaster recovery in healthcare, performing penetration testing, wireless assessments, and hardware hacking.
  • Chris Dale -Chris is the technical lead for penetration testing & incident handling at Netsecurity, Norway. Along with significant security expertise, Chris has a background in system development and application management.
  • Bryan Simon -Bryan is an internationally recognised expert in cybersecurity and has been working in the information technology and security field since 1991. Over the course of his career, Bryan has held various technical and managerial positions in the education, environmental, accounting, and financial services sectors.
  • Matthew Toussain -Matthew is an active-duty Air Force officer and the founder of Spectrum Information Security, a firm focused onmaximising the value proposition of information security programs. As an avid information security researcher, Matthew regularly hunts for vulnerabilities in computer systems and releases tools to demonstrate the effectiveness of attacks and countermeasures.
  • Stephen Sims -Stephen is an industry expert with over 15 years of experience in information technology and security. Stephen currently works out of San Francisco as a consultant performing reverse engineering, exploit development, threat modelling, and penetration testing.
  • David Cowen -David is a Certified SANS Instructor and aPartner at G-C Partners, LLC, where his team of expert digital forensics investigators pushes the boundaries of what is possible on a daily basis. He has been working in digital forensics and incident response since 1999 and has performed investigations covering thousands of systems in the public and private sector.
  • Jake Williams - Jake is a 12 year veteran of information security, an instructor of eight SANS courses and co-author of FOR526: Memory Forensics In-Depth and FOR578: Cyber Threat Intelligence. As well as being a SANS instructor Jake runs a successful Infosec consultancy.
  • Ted Demopoulos - Ted’s background includes over 25 years of experience in information security and business, including 20+ years as an independent consultant. Ted helped start a successful information security company, was the CTO at a "textbook failure" of a software startup, and has advised several other businesses.
